The legal knowledge manifested in this corner is for informational purposes only, and not for the purpose of providing legal advice and/or practicing the law. Be it known that it is illegal to practice law without a license in South Carolina. The legal knowledge that I manifest herein is from what I have gleaned from my studies of the law and reading legal books. I will share with you what I have read. Why? Because too many of us find ourselves caught up in the legal system, whether directly or indirectly, and too many of us are oblivious as to what is transpiring in this legal system. It is my intent to manifest herein, basic information on the legal system, your rights within it, and pull you out of the ignorance of the legal system, and hopefully enable you to share this information with others who don't know and may find themselves or a loved one,  caught within the grips of the legal system. In any system in society, be it business, schools, sports, politics, etc.., those who most find themselves at a disadvantage and/or manipulated in or by that system, are those individuals who do not know how that system works or the rules and regulations, written and unwritten, which governs the function of that system. I will endeavor herein to reveal this system and the rules and regulations which governs its function, as well as your rights within the judicial system. What constitutes an arrest, what is an arrest warrant, who can make an arrest, what must be done if you find yourself arrested, what are your rights if you get indicted for a crime, etc....And on the civil side, what are your civil rights, what do you do if an individual or the state violates your civil rights, what is a tort claim, etc.... Within this corner, I will manifest knowledge of these topics. Again, I am not a practicing attorney, however I am a Certified Legal Assistant/Paralegal. I am not licensed to practice law. The legal knowledge that I manifest is solely for informational purposes. To share with you what I have read (learned). Let the learning begin. Peace!
